The exhibition is a photographic documentation of the French photographer Mathieu Asselin's research on Monsanto. Asselin has been intensively involved with Monsanto's activities for five years. His book Monsanto: A Photographic Investigation was published in 2017. In 2018, the chemical company Bayer bought the U.S. seed producer Monsanto for almost 59 billion euros. Monsanto, manufacturer of the crop protection agent glyphosate, has repeatedly been criticized for its patent policy.
