Photography is a mass phenomenon. The “selfie” is an excessive means of self-representation. Still, photography as an art form always finds new ways of expressing itself. In My Point of View, four artists present their view through the lens from different standpoints and in different dimensions.
Dieter Bornemann presents portraits of the Viennese artist family Sengl, executed as three-dimensional photo sculptures. Song Jing’s Law of Attraction focuses on landscapes and the feelings they can trigger. Screen Romance by Michaela Putz illustrates human self-perception in times of virtualization.
Hessam Samavatian's work With Plasterboards was created as a negative mold of photo boxes: here photography becomes an independent theme and motif.
