When we are confronted on our journey with ideas, actions and experiences that do not fit into our world view, we have to let go of disbelief and judgment. The challenge is to remain receptive to all new information – it flows in bit by bit. Without wanting to understand it, everything comes into order through processing, finds significance and meaning. Nothing needs to be rejected, no matter how strange it seems to us in relation to what we think we know – what we don’t know is infinitely greater than what we know.

We can find meaning in our experience through photography. A photograph is smoke and mirrors, a piece of paper with a pattern of shades and colours, a metaphor for our world – yet we believe it’s a faithful representation of the same. The magic thing about it is ... that it is. (Vance Gellerte)
